He might have been serious once upon a time, but he is clearly out of the race now. nobody considers him a serious contender anymore. He has also been on the colbert report several times and made an arrangement that colbert would be his vice president if he wins the nomination. He just wants to keep his name out there.
Well, he's out now. I imagine McCain's less likely to take him into his administration for being such a thorn in his side for so long.
