What bugs me about the situation is that those people who don't want strict gun laws do the right thing and spend their own money in court to try and overturn these gooftastic laws. Meanwhile the proponents of gun laws are spending tax money, my money your money, everyone's money on huge legal battles to try and spit in the supreme courts eye. They don't care, it's not like every local/state/federal government in the country isn't massively in debt, oh no wait, it is. There was some city near northwestern that intentionally passed one of these laws in order to have the privilege of spending millions of dollars to argue about it in front of the supreme court. If you want to ban guns, use your own money donated to such a cause, instead of everyone elses tax dollars.
