That Professor of yours sounds like a legend, I had a similar professor who maybe wasn't quite so vocal to the hippies but he was certainly hated by them as a heretic for his views on the Iraq war, for example...

That came out funny with my voice recognition software, I meant the American husband of one of my best friends...
I've read some of his stuff, I think he's more of a populist than any kind of real ideologue.

Yeah but you have to give kudos to someone who can make classical liberal economic ideals accessible and palatable to a wider audience, i.e. he doesn't just preach to the converted and he gets results
Eat the Rich was pretty good too
But yeah, Robert is pretty damned awesome, not just his ideals and his calm and informed way of getting unpopular points across, but as a person he is a great friend as well. When you guys end up visiting me in Australia one day I will introduce you to him... and Father Bob of course!!
