I can't believe it...not again! Not another secret admirer!

So I had another secret admirer. I figured it out; thanks to my plagiarism busting, i've become quite the detective. she told me her name was aksana, so i looked through the list of students until i found one, then i looked up her file with photo. later she sent me some photos of herself, classy, but that confirmed that she was a student, and i had to tell her so sorry, that's against the rules.

the funniest thing is that before, for the first ten messeges when it was like "i like you but i don't dare approach you" and stuff like that i was like, "ok, who's fuckin with me?" i simply couldn't believe that secret admirers could exist: my feeling is that the best thing i have to offer a girl is my self, my ego, who i am--hiding it is the stupidest move i can make!

am i crazy? also, how did she get my phone number? man, i feel so bad...

i want a secret admirer! but not one of those weird creepy ones like in the dorm last year... a meek senior who still lived in hinman, saw me in the dining hall, and left post it notes on the door of my dorm room. eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

Aras,

This is funny for me to read as I consider myself a secret admirer of yours, too. It's funny to think that there is a host of girls secretly harbouring *special feelings* for you....

:)

I would want to look into how a student got my number as well, I hope she's not hot, because that would be painful wouldn't it?

What a pleasure it is to hear that, Bonnie Conquest:)

Now let's see...name starts with a J and she uses the King's English...hmm...Australia's still part of the commonwealth...

Aras,

The pleasure is all mine :)

And - I know you're smart... But I also know that you don't know me.

Iki.

As Elizabeth is the reigning monarch that would be Queen's English

mrdarius said...

wouldn't it still be the king's english?

Rachel Croucher said...

it would be king's english if the reigning monarch were a bloke, and i don't think elizabeth is, so it's queen's english...

the language the commonwealth speaks is directed at the reigning monarch

man I wish we'd hurry up and become a republic

Awwww, c'mon Rachel, surely being a loyal subject isn't so bad, is it? :)

Aras said...

it's still the king's english it's still the united kingdom, not the united queendom.

:p

and it turns out she got my number from the klk website! the rest of the administration have their landlines at work listed, but i don't have one, so they listed my mobile. well, if anyone wants to find me that bad, go ahead.

this is like the time Sarunas tried to convince me that Waltzing Matilda was an Irish song!

I say it is Queen's English, and you say it is King's English... I will happily concede defeat if I am wrong, but how much do you want to bet? How does a beer sound?

And Sarunas, I understand you couldn't resist, I don't mind calling myself a subject, but loyal? I'd give anything to live in Europe, so the joke doesn't work ... wait a minute, who am I talking to, that won't make you give up!

and Aras, shouldn't they have asked you permission before publishing your mobile number?

LOL! rachel, asking a question about the working of lithuanian institutions that start with "shouldn't" are very laughable. nobody here does anything because he "should." well, except for me. i'm trying to start a trend. so far, reason, logic, and common sense don't really play a part in the decision making process; it's basically all an act to keep our financing in order.

i think i might find the private sector more acceptable, but i don't plan on quitting for at least one more year.

all this experience in the public sector could look good for the private sector, shows you've done the hard yards
