how much i would suck without a thesaurus

i had to translate "atsiskaitymo formos"

using my LT-EN dictionary i came up with "forms of reckoning!" and i was like wait...this is Klaipeda College...not...a...John Wayne movie.

luckily using dictionary.com's thesaurus i came up with "forms of assessment." better, don't you think?

I would call them "performance evaluations."

or "performance reckonings"

evaluation is ivertinimas, and perfomance wasn't anywhere in there.

this thing's gotta go through editing before it's handed in to the ministry, and i'll let you guys know if you are correct.

or it could possibly be "invoices," but i believe saskaita faktura is more commonly used. depends on the context.

well, as a matter of fact "atsiskaityti" is most commonly used at bars: whereas i normally say "galima saskaita, prasau," most of my lugan boys say "galima atsiskaityti." sort of like paying my dues, shelling out what i owe.

I got back part of the translated self analysis today, including the "forms of assessment" section. my editor did not change my translation of that term, and to say he is a pedant would be an understatement.

This is my counter:
