Class Material

Using The Onion and Mises Institute articles as class material is a good way to expose students to everyday language and cuts down on prep time. It's especially good, for instance, to use op/ed pieces.

so when you give your students onion articles, do they realize it's a joke, or do they think it might be serious.

how quickly they realize it depends on the group and the article. the best was when we got half way through this article before they realized it:D
