YouTube didn't post the text that was supposed to go with this: it literally had my cryting laughing, with my special lady yelling that i was going to wake up our daughter if i didn't stop laughing so laud!
I've seen a lot of Jim Gaffigan stuff, and he is very hilarious. I'm pretty sure i showed you his thing on bacon, which was also hilariuos, but i've seen at least 2 hour long stands ups of his on comedy central, and they were both hilarious. One of them included the hot pocket bit. He is very underrated as a comedian, although he is on a sitcom now on tbs i think, not the main character. It's called my girls, i watched it for a while, and enjoyed it, but haven't seen it for like a year and a half. I think gaffigan still does stand up on the side.
You did, that introduced me to him. The whole reason that I found this bit is that I sent Rachel a link to the bacon one and ended up clicking on the related clips on YouTube.
I almost watched this again this morning, cause I remembered the goofy gruff voice he does when he says: I go in grocery stores, I go "Yeah, I'll get these."
Instead I watched some stuff of his I hadn't seen. His earlier stuff is not as good, particularly his impressions of the audiences thoughts: he barely changes his voice for them. Those high pitched impressions are one of the funniest parts of his act now. Maybe he hasn't been hilarious enough for long enough to have the reputation he deserves.
